A Multinational Academic Journey

He holds a PhD in Sustainable Energy from Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), Qatar Foundation, and a joint Master’s degree in Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain.

His Master’s education was structured as a four-semester international programme, with academic study across Spain, France and Sweden, followed by a final research semester in Madrid — giving him an unusually broad multidisciplinary foundation spanning energy engineering, environmental engineering, energy policy, technology, management, project development and sustainability.

Spain — UPM, Madrid

Energy technologies, European energy policies and management, including studies undertaken in association with IE Business School.

France — IMT Atlantique, Nantes

Environmental engineering — waste-incineration plants, flue-gas treatment and pollution remediation, plus technical exposure to nuclear energy-generation facilities.

Sweden — KTH, Stockholm

Energy engineering and utilisation, with technical visits to ABB hydroelectric facilities, Vattenfall waste-to-energy in Uppsala, and the Swedish waste-management system.

Spain — UPM, Madrid (Final Semester)

Major research project in Concentrated Solar Power, supported by a €15,000 university scholarship, with exposure to the Plataforma Solar de Almería and Red Eléctrica de España.

Global Academic & Intellectual Engagement

Complementing his formal qualifications, Dr. Singh has completed certified academic and executive programmes from MIT, Harvard University, TU Delft, Georgetown University, the University of Texas at Austin and Grenoble Ecole de Management — the latter in association with Total Energies and Air Liquide — covering global development and poverty, climate change, healthcare, justice, human rights, energy, economics, globalisation, geopolitics, international negotiations and the hydrogen economy.

At MIT, he studied global challenges relating to poverty under Nobel laureates Esther Duflo and Abhijit Banerjee. He has also undertaken certified studies in geopolitics, economics, war crimes and international negotiations through Bridge Education Abroad, Kosovo, and participated in the Nobel Week Dialogue in Sweden — joining the broader international conversation on science, technology and society.

Research, Recognition & Innovation

In recognition of his academic and research potential in sustainable energy, Dr. Singh was selected as a winner of the Third Oryx GTL Student Awards in Qatar in 2016 (Gulf Times), while pursuing his PhD at HBKU. His academic and research work continues to be reflected through his Google Scholar profile.

One of his key contributions is the development of the NSDAIA concept, aimed at enabling the practical, on-the-ground implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. He has also developed concepts relating to business stock valuation and policy frameworks for achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, bringing together sustainability objectives with economic and institutional considerations.

Technology, Projects & Sustainable Development

Dr. Singh’s professional work spans a diverse range of technology and sustainability initiatives, including compressed biogas, waste-to-energy, RDF-based power generation, waste-to-petrochemicals and fuels, renewable energy, nuclear energy, sustainable desalination, sustainable agriculture, circular economy and sustainable infrastructure.

His work focuses on translating scientific knowledge, emerging technologies and policy frameworks into practical, scalable and implementation-oriented projects. His approach is rooted in systems thinking — recognising that energy, environment, technology, economics, finance, geopolitics and human development are deeply interconnected and require integrated solutions.

Founder of Pandava Supereon

As the Founder of Pandava Supereon, Dr. Singh brings together his experience across science, technology, sustainability, finance, policy, geopolitics and project development to build an ecosystem of enterprises, institutions and initiatives dedicated to Advancing Humanity Through Science, Innovation and Purpose.

His vision is to bring together knowledge, technology, enterprise, capital and human potential to address complex challenges and create enduring value for society and future generations.

“The purpose of innovation is not innovation itself. Its purpose is to create a better future.”
